The beats do not line up

1. Open the Transition Lab, choose the Decks section and find Grid check for the deck.
2. Switch on Tick on every beat and play the track. If the ticks sit on the kicks, the grid is right.
3. If not, use Shift grid (−10, −1, +1, +10 ms) until they do, then press Add anchor here.
4. Plan the mix again.

Tracks with no steady beat (live or free-time music) are hard for any analyser.
