Share a mix or a set as audio

Render a planned mix or set to an audio file you can share. (Saving a mix or plan to open again in A/B TEKNIQ is File ▸ Save Mix and Save Set Plan.)

  1. Plan the mix in the Transition Lab's LIVE DIRECTOR section.
  2. Press Share mix (or Share set, for a whole planned set) and choose a format.
  3. Choose where to save the file.

Formats: AAC (.m4a) is small and plays almost everywhere, including Android. Apple Lossless (.m4a), AIFF, FLAC and WAV are lossless and larger. 16 or 24 bit can be chosen (FLAC is always 24 bit).

The file has a chapter for each track, and a CUE sheet is saved beside it so players can show the track list.

Tip. There is no MP3 export: macOS and iPadOS have no built-in MP3 encoder, and the app does not use third-party ones.
