On the Performance screen, Deck A uses the left-hand keys and Deck B the right-hand ones:
- Play or pause: E (Deck A), P (Deck B)
- The mixer's two buttons: Q switches quantize on and off for both decks, S switches SYNC on and off (Deck B follows Deck A)
- Cue (set the cue point when there is none, back to it otherwise): A, L. Cue play (start from the cue point): W, O
- Hot cues 1 to 8: the number keys 1 to 8 (Deck A), Option with the number keys (Deck B)
- Loops of 1, 2, 4, 8 bars (press again to end the loop): Z X C V (Deck A), N M , . (Deck B)
- Beat jump 4 beats back or forward: [ and ] (Deck A), - and = (Deck B). Other lengths are in the deck's LOOP / FX menu under Beat jump, where Wrap round the ends of the track can be switched on: a jump past the end then carries on from the start (and the other way about). It is off unless you switch it on, and it is remembered.
Tip. The keys do nothing while you are typing in a field, and the cue key has no hold-to-preview (use the CUE button for that).
